ASSIGNMENTS/CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS
Contact Mr. Fryar:
Email: [email protected] Phone: (910) 538-4076. Website: http://jackfryarsclass.weebly.com. Please use email whenever possible – it’s the best way to get in touch with me. If you do have to phone, please try to do so before 9pm! Do not hesitate to communicate with me via email or otherwise. If you are struggling with the readings, or with anything else pertaining to the course, come see me. That is why I am here.
9/13/21 - Multimedia Project:
You are required to produce a project that explores some aspect of the course material. This can be a video, artwork, a paper (6 pages minimum), or almost any other medium you can think of as long as it accomplishes the following: (1) it relates to the material we have been studying (2) it demonstrates your knowledge of our course material (3) it shows creativity. Get prior approval for your project from me before you begin it. You must choose your topic by Monday, September 13, 2021. You have more time to decide exactly what form your project will take, but the topic must be selected by this date to insure you have time to complete it. Here’s your chance to dazzle me! You can find sixteen project types with rubrics on the course resources page. While you can choose from these, you are not limited to these projects if you want to do something else. There are photos of past projects done by my classes on the homepage of this website.
This assignment counts as much as three unit tests (300 points), so put some effort into it!
